This is the first class of our Zouk progressive course

Content

We will be covering the Basics module (see course content - if we cover everything quickly we may also stray into the next module). Even if you’ve already done plenty of Zouking, I’d encourage you to come along. You will almost certainly learn something new, and definitely fine-tune things you already know. :D

Timetable

We will be in the space from 8pm playing music for you to practice or ask questions. The class will start at 8.30pm promptly - don’t be late, or you will miss important details!

The class will last an hour, followed by half an hour of social/practice time, finishing at 10pm.

There is space for parking cars and bikes at the cosy venue, Artspace.

Conditions

Since we’re going to be doing focused learning, with lots of personal feedback, participants will be limited to 16 (balanced as close as possible on lead-follow). :)

The course of 6 weeks costs £45, and includes a half hour of private session for each participant (which you can take to catch up on a missed lesson, or at the end to get feedback and establish what to work more on). You will also receive the video notes for the course, and be eligible for the next progressive course, that will run after this!

P.S. For these six weeks, there will be a Flashmob Group practice available from 10-10.50pm, for us to polish our choreo before performing at Wolfson! This practice is free to those flashmobbers who are taking the progressive course - donation requested for those not taking the course, to help cover venue costs (£3 suggested, optional). :)

P.P.S. Once this course finishes, we’ll be running two classes per Monday - another Basics, and a Fundamentals 1! Watch this space.
