Brazilian Zouk is a gorgeous, expressive partner dance.

Born from the beautiful and sensual dance Lambada and danced to music from all around the world, Brazilian Zouk has something for everyone.

It helps people from all walks of life connect with one another, in a safe and fun environment.

Why not check our upcoming events to see when and where you can join in?

It is great exercise, a fab way to make new friends, and an amazing new skill for life!

You don’t need anything to start, and it’s ok if you have two left feet. Nobody is judging, and you can only get better with practice. ;)

And for those who have danced before, Zouk is a brilliant way to hone your technical ability.

Join us on one of our beginner courses, or contact Jenny to see how you can get involved.

Doing Brazilian zouk helped create my own circle of friends. People I love spending time with while doing something fun. It also introduced me to my life partner!

Where to sTART?

We have classes and courses to suit all skill levels.

The best way to start is usually by joining a Total Beginners course.

We run these every few months at least - and if you are interested, get in touch, we might be able to schedule one soon!

We also run weekenders, workshops, bootcamps, intensive courses and more, so stay tuned and we’ll find the perfect way for you to get involved.

Improvers

  • Continue to take courses and improve your skill at the course content - once you have taken any particular course, it is only £10 (and highly recommended!) to retake it. You can do this as often as you like!

  • Regular intensive workshops and special events - see upcoming events

  • Private/small group classes recommended to progress and improve fast

  • Take some trips to congresses or weekenders in other cities! It’s a wonderful and inspiring experience. Ask us for our recommendations, or join one of our group trips.

Zouk Dancers are also known to travel far and wide for their dancing kicks. We have a WhatsApp group for organising trips abroad and will advertise National and International congresses where a good proportion of us are going (and even if we’re not, lead the way for the community!)
